About Computers 4 Kids
Computers 4 Kids was established as The Gift from God Computer Foundation in November 2003. The concept grew out of a project where we sent out over 160 computers to children’s homes in Namibia, Africa. The founders along with a group of volunteers, made the decision to help the children right here in our own backyard. That is how we got started, and since then have given away over 5000 computers to Central Florida students and children around the world.
Supplying computers for children who can’t afford them and recycling old parts that would otherwise wind up in landfills helps us accomplish two goals; helping kids and tending the earth.
Mission Statement
The primary focus of Computers for Kids is to make a difference in the lives of children by providing technology to students who otherwise would not have access thereby propelling them toward personal, academic & economic success and productive citizenship.
